A mistake and a lesson on MacPorts

So I was cleaning up my user directory, which I haven't done since I got this laptop almost a year ago. I deleted ~/ports, apparently a bad call. If you see the "Warning: Can't open index file for source" error from most port commands, try editing one of the .conf files in /opt/local/etc/macports. Because macports was located in /opt/local/var/macports and had a ~/.macports folder, I didn't even think to look in yet another spot for the ACTUAL .conf files that affected my macports installation.
